What it is — and isn't

MagSert® conditions water. It is not a water softener or filter and does not remove minerals. The minerals remain in the water, but MagSert® helps change how they form and adhere to plumbing surfaces. Results develop over time and may vary depending on water conditions, usage, and existing scale buildup.

Where it installs

Installed on the urinal's water supply line, where water flows through the unit on its way to the fixture. MagSert® conditions water as it flows, so it works whenever the fixture is in use.

How commercial orders work

The MagSert® Urinal is designed for commercial restroom applications where mineral scale can contribute to valve problems, fixture staining, and restricted drain flow.
Installed on the urinal’s water supply line, MagSert® conditions the water as it flows to help manage mineral buildup where scale commonly causes maintenance concerns.
Helps Reduce:
  • Mechanical problems in urinal flush valves caused by mineral scale
  • Mineral staining and buildup inside urinal fixtures
  • Scale mineralization in urinal drains and waste lines
By helping reduce hardened mineral deposits, the MagSert® Urinal may help support more reliable operation, reduce maintenance needs, and keep fixtures looking cleaner.
